Branching out from the Oregon animal movie track record established by Thunderhead, Son of Flicka and Tonka, Gentle Giant is the story of a friendship between a boy and a bear, not a boy and a horse.
I hereby claim it as an Oregon film, citing the Oregon citizenship of the author of the book on which it was based.
