As a follow up to their music video collaboration, Heard ‘Em Say (2004), Kanye West tapped Bill Plympton for a second project. Through The Wire is a book of West’s song lyrics, with illustrations by Plympton.
Plympton spent years as an illustrator before commiting full time to animation. He has remarked in conversation that he never looked back. Until this project.
