Oregon raised animator Brad Bird (The Iron Giant, The Incredibles, Ratatouille) made his debut on network television with Family Dog, a short made while he was a student at Cal Arts. It appeared as one part of one episode of Steven Spielberg’s Amazing Stories series.
I hereby claim Family Dog as an Oregon film.

My sister and I used to tape every episode of amazing stories. This particular episode was taped and my sister and I watched it at the bare minimum 500 times before the tape literally started to disentegrate. We knew every word, sound, and how to act out every part of this little short to this day it remains one of my favorite episoides! LOVE THIS!
