Clan Of The Cave Bear was Jean Auel’s first novel. She followed it with The Valley of Horses, The Mammoth Hunters, The Plains of Passage and The Shelters of Stone – all part of the wildly popular and meticulously researched Earth’s Children series.

I love the Earth’s Children Series. The new book, The Land of Painted Caves just came out and I am eager to read it now that my daughter has finished it
