Animation historian Kevin S. Sandler saw Portland independent film archivist Dennis Nyback’s Bad Bugs Bunny program in London in 1996, and went to work collecting essays from his fellow scholars. He acknowledges his inspiration in the first paragraphs of the book, although he misspelled Nyback as Nybeck. Published by Rutgers University Press in 1998, Dennis Nyback just learned about it yesterday.
