Independent filmmaker Tom Shaw began by making industrial films in Florida. After moving to Portland, he turned his attention to porn, although it is not clear that he ever did make (or, at least, finish) a porn film. One of his procrastinating tactics was lending his 16mm package out to other Portland independent filmmakers. At no charge.

His most successful film, The Courier Of Death, has a fan club in Glascow, Scotland, but admirers here in the USA as well.

I hereby claim The Courier Of Death as an Oregon film, on the basis of location shooting and the Oregon citizenship of all those responsible.
